Fantastic Stay!

convenient location friendly staff free parking
The staff was really friendly, and the room had a fridge, great. Free parking was available.
The TV lacked subtitle accessibility. This was a bit disappointing for me.

The room was a good size, and the cleanliness was excellent (I liked the clean decor). I found plenty of hot water was available, and having tea and coffee readily available in the room was a definite plus.

The food was excellent, and the breakfast was great (especially the quality produce!). The good dining room added charm to the dining experience. I have to say, meals are always really good here.

The staff were very friendly and helpful (they are always cute!). The night porter was a really lovely chap. I was able to discuss a minor issue with the staff. They listened and responded with kindness.

ABSOLUTELY charmed by my stay!

spacious room attentive staff excellent value
I found the staff very helpful! They were attentive to my needs. The room was spacious and airy. I enjoyed breakfast, and the staff accommodated my requests without hesitation. Nothing seemed TOO much.
The radiator seemed stuck on HIGH. I was not able to adjust it.

The location had GREAT access to a park right outside the hotel. The city centre and the train station were both a short walk away. This made getting around the area very easy.

charmed stay!

short walk peaceful room huge bathroom ample storage
I booked the stay to attend a nearby family celebration and wished i had booked another night! the hotel is located just a short walk from the city centre. the room overlooked gardens. Even with the window open, it was peaceful. it included a huge bathroom with plenty of storage space.
the lift was out of service, so i had to use the stairs to reach my room. this was not ideal, especially with luggage, and caused a slight inconvenience upon arrival.

the staff were cute and really helpful . their attentiveness definitely, as they were quick to address any questions i had. they even gave recommendations for nearby attractions.

The staff provided genuinely warm service. They were helpful in every possible way. I felt very well looked after . The hotel staff and owners.
The room was not as depicted on the website. Locating the room, I found a bin bag with toilet rolls prohibiting the entrance to the landing door. The meal deal offered on the website was unavailable upon arrival, as they stated a racing day prevented them from offering it.

the breakfast offered a nice variety, with fresh fruits and pastries available. i had a superior queen room that included complimentary tea and coffee facilities, it was handy. the staff helped me to locate nearby attractions, such as the local museum and art gallery.
the bathroom lighting wasn't ideal for applying makeup, its a slight issue.
